Advance Reading Copy (ARC) Program

This program enables publishers to send advance-reading copies to library accounts prior to publication. It is an ideal program to promote new or breakout authors. There are two separate programs: Adult (mailed semi-monthly to 375 major public libraries) and Young Adult (mailed six times/year; Jan., Apr., May, Aug., Sept., and Dec.; to 375 school media specialists and public libraries.)

Publisher-created flyers and BLADs may also be inserted with the ARC mailings.

Book Requirements:

Books must be bound with a 2- or 4-color cover. Send copies three weeks prior to scheduled mail date to:

Flyers / BLADs should arrive at Baker & Taylor two weeks prior to mail date. Please send flyers to your sales representative.
