Each year, Baker & Taylor invites publishers to meet with top executives and sales representatives in the Baker & Taylor Library and Education division. Over the course of two days, publishers have the opportunity to learn about industry trends and new B&T offerings in a range of settings:
- Opening remarks from several members of the Baker & Taylor management team. Past speakers have included George Coe, President of Library & Education; David Cully, President of Retail Markets and Executive Vice President of Merchandising; and Robert Nelson, President of the Digital Group.
- Educational sessions led by departments such as Merchandising, Digital Media Services, Data Management, and Publisher Alley.
- A vendor fair, at which publishers promote their new releases to B&T sales reps and area librarians.
- A vendor appreciation party—for relaxed introductions and casual networking.
